+ How much time should I expect to be in the office?

Your time is valuable to us. For new complete exams, you should expect your visit to last approximately 1 hour.

+ Will my eyes be dilated at my visit?

It is recommended that low risk patients have a dilated examination every 1-2 years. Patients with certain medical conditions may require more frequent dilated exams. There are parts of the eye that cannot be thoroughly evaluated without dilation.
